Shocking scenes in a village in Western Ukraine, where the deputy chairman of the local council threw several grenades during a meeting, Ukrainian Pravda writes. 26 people were injured, six of them in serious condition, and rescuers are trying to resuscitate the man who threw the grenades.

According to the authorities, at 11:37 an emergency service was called about an incident that took place in the premises of the Keret village council in Transcarpathia. The call was made by a woman who was watching online.

As “Ukrainian Pravda” reports, the grenades were thrown by Serhii Batryn, a deputy of the Keretsk settlement council from “Servant of the People”.

The State Emergency Service, the police investigation team, explosives experts and forensic experts are working at the scene.
