Writer and film critic Ioan Pavel Azap, a member of the Writers’ Union of Cluj, died at the age of 56, Clujul Cultural writes.

Born on May 15, 1967 in Titzvaniul-Mik, Karash-Severin district. Azap graduated from the Faculty of Philosophy of UBB Cluj-Napoca, class of 1995. He was the editor of the Tribuna magazine in Cluj and received the Ion Cantacuzino Award for Reanimation Film Critic in 2010.
