According to the Times of Israel, the Israeli armed forces and the Shin Bet security agency released footage showing several Hamas militants killed by Israeli forces in one of the terrorist group’s tunnels in the northern Gaza Strip.
According to a joint statement, the “important” tunnel was discovered in recent days by the Northern Brigade of the Gaza Division, near the Shin Bet.
Hamas militants were identified and killed by the elite Yahal unit of the Combat Genius Corps using “various means”, the military (IDF) said without elaborating.
The footage appears to show a camera lowered into a tunnel with an agent touching the device before being shot or detonated.
The video then cuts to another clip showing the bodies of several Hamas militants on the tunnel floor.
