
The Football Federation of Ukraine was fined 20,000 euros due to the racist behavior of the national team in the match against Italy on November 20 as part of the qualifying tournament for the 2024 European Championship, writes EFE.
Also, the Ukrainian stadium will be partially closed for one match in accordance with the decision of the Control, Ethics and Disciplinary Committee (CEDB) of UEFA.
“The Football Association of Ukraine notifies UEFA before the match about the sector or sectors to be closed, which must be at least 5,000 seats.” it is stated in the decision of ECRB.
Ukraine and Italy played out a 0-0 draw in the previous match, giving the peninsula direct qualification to Euro 2024. However, our neighbors were accused of missing a penalty in extra time, in a phase in which Cristante and Mudryk participated.

Also, in connection with the Luxembourg – Bosnia-Herzegovina match (November 16, qualification for EURO 2024), the Football Federation of Bosnia was fined 40,000 euros and banned from selling tickets to its fans as visitors to the next official match under the auspices of UEFA, for discriminatory behavior of fans and launching fireworks.
The Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina also received a fine of 10,000 euros for invading the playing field, writes Agerpres.
