Christina Nyagu’s message about parting with the Romanian national team

What a fantastic trip! I always wanted to represent my country. And I had the chance to do it for 17 years..every time with pride, honor and responsibility. I played and made great memories with sensational players and lived every moment to the fullest.

I would like to thank all my colleagues and coaches who were with me during these years in the national team. Thanks to the fans who have always been with me and the team. It was a great honor to be the captain of the team.

I always went to the field with ambition, fighting spirit, I laughed, cried, with sadness, with joy, and every time I gave my best.

I am proud of everything achieved and especially grateful for all the emotions and feelings experienced under the tricolor! This is the end of the journey with the national team, but my journey continues! Go Romania!” – Christina Nyagu.
