The boss of “Ankaraguju” hit the central referee – his team drew in the last phase

The match between Ankaragucu and Rizespor was tense from the start, with the home side having a goal disallowed by VAR after ten minutes.

Four minutes later, international player Olimpiu Morutan scored a wonderful goal with a shot from outside the box.

In the 51st minute, Ankaragücü had the upper hand and did not concede until the seventh minute of extra time, when Rizespor equalized in the final stages.

Dissatisfied with the lost points, Ankaragücü boss Faruk Koca entered the field at the end of the game and shot down the middle.

Experienced FIFA referee Khalil Umut Meler fell on the field, and those around him protected him from further blows.

When he was helped to his feet, the official was visibly shaken by the blow and had a hematoma under his left eye.
