Farul Constanta took revenge in front of the fans after the Romanian Cup humiliation with Craiova University (4:0) and won at home against Petrolul Ploiesti.

Constantin Budescu opened the scoring in the 30th minute of the game, executing a shot from 11 meters.

The Mariners doubled their lead in the 52nd minute after a fine display by the hosts, which was completed by Loui Munteanu.

In addition, Jonuts Lari made the score 3:0 (min. 78), but the final result was determined by Paul Papp, who reduced the difference in favor of Prahoven (min. 82).
