David Popovici took 4th place in the final of the 200m freestyle at the European Short Course Swimming Championships in Otopeni.
The athlete registered at CS Dinamo Bucharest stopped the clock at 1:41.52.
British Matthew Richards (1:41.01 – gold), James Guy (1:41.12 – silver) and Lithuanian Danas Rapsis (1:41.15 – bronze) rose to the podium.
David Popovici will also compete in the semi-finals of the 100m freestyle on Saturday, starting at 19:31.
