
On Saturday, David Popovici and Patric-Sebastian Dinu reached the semi-finals of the 100m freestyle at the European Short Course Championships in Otopeni.
David swam in the fourth qualifying round with Patrick-Sebastian Dinu and George-Alexandru Stoika-Konstantin.
Popovichi finished in first place (46.70), followed by Hungarian Nandor Nemet (46.88). Dina finished in 5th place (47.36 – entry to the semi-finals), and Stoika-Konstantin took 6th place (48.97).
Only the Italian Alessandro Miressi showed a better time than David Popovich in races: 46.49.
On Saturday at 7:31 p.m., the semi-finals will be held at the distance of 100 m freestyle.
Also tonight (from 6:06 p.m.) David Popovichi will compete in the 200 m freestyle final.
