Andriy Ungur became a bronze medalist in the 100-meter backstroke at the European Short Course Swimming Championships in Otopeni.

The Romanian athlete finished third, managing to finish in 50 seconds and 40 hundredths.

For Andrii Ungur, this is the biggest result in his career.

Lorenzo Mora also won the bronze medal, posting the same time as the Romanian.

Maven Tomac (France, 49 seconds and 72 hundredths) won the gold medal, and Johan Ndoye-Brouard (France, 49 seconds and 96 hundredths) won the silver.
