Collaborations between the world of video games and cars are not uncommon, and let’s just say that this marketing exercise also has only a fairly limited interest. We especially remember the Peugeot 206 Xbox 360, which was the result of the sports partnership between Microsoft and Peugeot for the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2007 or, with a completely different success, the partnership between the Gran Turismo saga and the Japanese manufacturer Nissan.

Mercedes and Sony are making the news today Mercedes A-Class inspired by PlayStation 5. This special version of the German compact car will be produced as soon as possible 50 copies and can now be ordered online at the Mercedes-Benz Store website in Italy 55,677 euros.

For fans of PlayStation and Mercedes

This Mercedes Class A 250e Vibes features a plug-in hybrid engine and was created in collaboration with Sony Interactive Entertainment Italy. It offers a configuration with chromatic and stylistic elements that echo the digital edition of the PS5 (that’s without the CD player).

This version of the Vibes is based on the A 250e Advanced Plus AMG class, the most premium configuration. Novelty, it’s a digital white paint that’s meant to resemble the color of the PS5. The package comes with 18-inch alloy wheels and the Night Pack, which includes a black grille and mirrors, as well as tinted rear windows.

The Mercedes A-Class 250e Vibes also offers special customization inside, with black leather seats and a sliding panoramic sunroof.

Up to 82 km on electricity

As a reminder, the Mercedes A-Class 250e is equipped with a hybrid engine consisting of a 1.3-liter four-cylinder turbocharged gasoline unit and an electric motor to with a total power of 218 hp. and 450 Nm.

It’s all connected to a 15.6 kWh battery and an eight-speed automatic transmission. The power reserve in fully electric mode can reach 82 km.
