The 200th cargo plane with such equipment has landed, the Israeli Defense Ministry said on Wednesday.

Armored vehicles, ammunition, personal protective equipment and medical equipment, among other things, were delivered as part of a joint initiative between the US and Israeli Departments of Defense.

Washington is Israel’s most important ally. The US government has repeatedly confirmed Israel’s right to self-defense since the start of the Gaza war on October 7.

However, due to the high number of civilian casualties in Gaza as a result of Israeli attacks, the US government has taken an increasingly cautious tone. He called on Israel to provide more effective protection of civilians in the war against the Palestinian Islamist movement Hamas.

The war in Gaza was sparked by Hamas’ worst attack on Israel on October 7, when more than 1,200 people were killed. In response, Israel launched a massive bombardment, and from the end of October – a ground offensive in the Gaza Strip.
