Dynamo Bucharest suffered a 2-1 defeat against Sepsi Sfantu Gheorghe in the 18th round of the Romanian Super League on Monday night, and the Bucharest team made several accusations against the referee.
Andrey Nicolescu, a message to Kiros Vassaras: “Enough!”
After 18 stages, “Dynamo” occupies the penultimate place in the Romanian Super League, having only one point from the last “Botosani”.
The Bucharest side, recently managed by Željko Kopic, went on a 12-game run without success in the league after losing 2-1 to Sepsi on Monday night.
The Dogs blamed the officiating in the match against the Covesne players, and on Tuesday, Andrii Nicolescu, the team’s special administrator from Stefan cel Mare, lashed out at the president of the Central Referees Commission, Kiros Vassaras.
“Central commission of arbitrators,
Mr. Kyros Vassaras,
President of CCA
ENOUGH!
On 11/09/2023, I submitted a memorandum to the CCA in which I pointed out a number of refereeing errors committed against our team. On this occasion, I brought to your attention concrete examples, accompanied by video materials, and asked you to take the necessary measures, in the position you hold, so that Dynamo, like any other team in Romanian football, benefits from FAIR, COMPETENT AND RESPONSIBLE ARBITRATION.
Almost 30 days have passed since the said note. I didn’t get any reply. Errors against our team, confirmed by specialists who cannot be suspected of subjectivism or sympathy for dynamism, continued with an unacceptable speed.
The most recent example: in the match that took place on December 4, 2023 at Sfantu Gheorghe, against Sepsi OSK, there were TWO PHASES with an interval of only 20 minutes, during which the players of our team were fouled in the penalty area against the opponent. team.
Concrete:
• At the 21st minute, “Sepsi” player Branislav Ninay elbowed “Dynamo” player Razvan Patriche in the head;
• in the 41st minute, the same Branislav Ninay hits the face of Dynamo’s Lamine Gezali with his shoulder.
Given that a penalty could have been awarded in both cases, both phases were subject to VAR review. Thus, even in a situation where Mr. Radu Petrescu, the “central” of the party, would have “missed” these two incidents, his colleagues in the VAR booth could have made the necessary regulatory interventions.
However, two points were ignored! The game ended with a score of 2-1 in favor of the SEPSI OSK team. So, in our opinion, confirmed, I repeat, by video footage and expert analysis by the referees, we are dealing with a clear case of match-fixing. Unfortunately, this is just one of an absolutely unacceptable series of such cases.
Mr. Vassaras, dear Central Commission, dear Romanian referees, ENOUGH!
When we took over this team, we decided not to comment on the refereeing. For months, stage by stage, we watched the refereeing errors, but preferred to talk only about the shortcomings of our team. We decided to report what we did wrong and what we should do better. Therefore, we believed and believe that he is decent, civilized, professional.
But our “silence” seems to have been considered a weakness.
We know well the “custom of the region”: the team does not work, you look for the culprits elsewhere. We have abandoned this custom. But in a world accustomed to imposters, to shouting, to shouting, to old complicities, to aggressive outings in public followed by inexplicable reconciliations in private, our approach proved inadequate. “If you don’t offend, then you don’t exist!” seems to be the motto of the universe, where “those of us from Dynamo” can be endlessly ignored.
Not true, dear gentlemen!
Dynamo cannot be ignored. We understand that there are still some, still young and not confused by studying the history of Romanian football (not confused by any other research, by the way), who think that Dynamo is a small team. The total lack of information and understanding is their sin, not ours.
Dynamo was, is and will remain an indisputable landmark of Romanian football. Romanian sports. Romania. Dynamo is a symbol of the identity of the capital and Romanian society. Whoever does not understand this axiom confuses day with night and truth with lies.
In recent years, “Dynamo” has experienced the most difficult period in its history through no fault of the current management. We are now very close to exiting bankruptcy. All wages are paid on time. We create a party, an administrative team, naturally make the necessary adjustments. We are still wrong. We learn from mistakes. Real reconstruction takes time. It is difficult! With moments of balance!
We are still not playing well. We rarely write outrageously. We will play better. We will sign up more often. Including from the penalty, when we will receive this right according to the regulatory act. We do not ask anyone for help. Only that we defend our chances, win our matches independently and with FAIR JUDGMENT.
At the 21st minute of yesterday’s match, I heard a televised comment of monumental subjectivity: “Patryche hit Ninay on the forearm with his head!” Is that how elbows are described lately?! Referees in the VAR room are influenced by live commentary?! Excluded, theoretically. But practically?
Mr. Vassaras, dear Central Commission, dear Romanian arbitrators, we assure you that we will defend our rights strictly, transparently and decisively. Every match and every phase!
We, “those of us from Dynamo”, who do not seem to be connected to networks of influence, have other means: they are connected with decency, with the law, with regulations, with common sense. And we will use them all. We will not be victims of incompetence or backroom games.
Mr. Vassaras, Honorable Central Commission, Honorable Romanian Referees, FAIRLY RECOMMEND US!
Mr. Vassaras, what do you think happens in the civilized, European, sane world when the president of the Central Referees Commission receives a memo from the team?
You probably have no idea. We help you: ANSWER!
With respect and confidence that, despite everything that has happened so far, DYNAMO WILL BE JUDGED FAIRLY.
Dynamo 1948 SA,
Special Administrator,
Andrey Nikolescu,” the club’s official press release states.
