Some minor changes for this end of the year, in anticipation of the most important deadline: transition to 2024.
In the meantime, the date will still be marked on the calendar, that is, Fr December 15 following. Here’s what to remember in the last month of the year!
List of vehicles eligible for the environmental bonus on December 15
By 2024, everyone electric cars will no longer have the right environmental bonus. There will be a list of acceptable models created according to very specific environmental criteria such asfor example, the total carbon footprint of the vehicle.
Today, in order to benefit from the environmental bonus, the only criterion that is taken into account is the price. Under 47,000 eurosthe model can get a bonus in size 5000 eurosor even 7,000 euros depending on the taxable income of the household.
To take advantage of next year’s bonus, ADEME will “evaluate” electric vehicles according to the following criteria: production, installation, battery, transport AND logistics
From mid-October, builders can submit their documents to the Environmental Transition Agency. See you on December 15 for the final verdict…

The government has updated the service Telepointsnow replaced by ” My points are allowed “.

However, as with the old system, caution should be exercised. There may be a slight discrepancy between your actual points balance and what is displayed. If you have just had a violation, the balance is not updated immediately.
Assistance in buying bicycles
THE bike bonus, which was originally supposed to end on December 31, 2022, will end on December 31, 2023.
The amount of assistance is 150 euros for the purchase of a classic bicycle and 400 euros for the purchase of a bicycle with electric support. If you are interested, hurry!
How about leasing for €100 a month
The Dec. 15 announcement could potentially lead to another long-awaited but also persistently delayed measure: car leasing 100 euros/month for the poorest families.
With a list of models eligible for the ‘new’ bonus until 2024, the government may take the opportunity to provide details on rent a model without emissions for 100 euros/month.
In order to achieve such a very attractive price, the vehicles in question must be eligible for the “new” bonus. But with cheaper models, often made in China, the bonus will disappear. A real headache for the government, which risks not fulfilling its promise on time. Or put it off again!
