On Wednesday, Ukrainians blew up a train in Russia’s longest tunnel, and after the Russians began using a detour route, several explosive devices exploded on a railway bridge as a fuel train passed over it.
According to the sources of “Ukrainian Pravda” and Reuters, these large-scale sabotage would be the work of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU).
The achievement is all the more impressive because it took place 4,000 kilometers from Russia’s border with Ukraine.
The SBU detonated explosives in this railway tunnel, more than 15 kilometers long, in Siberia on Wednesday, as Russia uses the route for military supplies.
A preliminary investigation showed that the explosives were planted under a freight train, which detonated during the passage of granite through the Pivnichomuy tunnel in the Buretiya district.
There were no reports of injuries in the incident, and Russian authorities said the train that caught fire in Russia’s longest tunnel on Wednesday was blown up in a “terrorist act” by unknown people.
BRKNG IMPORTANT: UA media cites “sources” who claim that the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) is behind today’s arson of a train in the Pivnichomuy railway tunnel – a VERY important and symbolic infrastructure facility in Siberia, Russia.

As a result of a special operation of the Security Service of Ukraine on the Baikal-Amur railway in Russia, another fuel train exploded.
According to the source of “Ukrainian Pravda”, this explosion was the second stage of the SBU’s special operation to disable this important railway line, which the Russians use, in particular, for military logistics.
After the explosion on Wednesday, Russians began to use the detour through the Devil’s Bridge to continue their journey.
This is exactly what the SBU was counting on: when the train passed through this 35-meter bridge, the explosive devices embedded in it exploded, the quoted source said.
As reported by Russian Telegram channels, as a result of the explosion, six tank cars caught fire, including an echelon of firemen to extinguish the flames.
