The penultimate group stage of the Conference League saw Rezvan Lucescu’s side PAOK Thessaloniki win 2-1 at the German ground in Frankfurt. Both teams secured qualification.

Fenerbahce, humiliated on the pitch of the Danes from Nordsjælland in the Conference League

Ex-rival FCSB “Nordschelland” achieved an impressive result in the confrontation with Istanbul “Fenerbahce”.

The Danes won 6:1 and are one step away from qualifying in a group that also includes Ludogorets (Razgrad).

A 2-1 win over Eintracht Frankfurt in Frankfurt earned PAOK Thessaloniki first place in the group, which ensures direct passage to the round of 16 of the Conference League.

The first place in the group is confidently occupied by “Aston Villa” and “Pilsen”, and the last stage will decide the remaining qualified teams.

The leaders of each group will take part directly in the 1/8 finals, while the runners-up will face the teams relegated from the Europa League in the play-offs.
