To power its new electric cars, Lotus may rely on a European network that is getting tighter by the day, but the manufacturer, which is clearly targeting the premium and luxury segments, intends to offer its customers a complete experience, right down to recharging. .

Lotus has just introduced a full range of charging solutionswhich is currently available in China and is scheduled to launch in Europe next year.

We find a super-fast charging station capable of providing a charging capacity of more than 450 kW. This technology will allow drivers to charge their Lotus Eletre, the brand’s electric SUV, from 10% to 80% in just 20 minutes. The second fast charging station, which this time will be focused on the highway, can reach a peak power of up to 480 kW.

Lotus also presents a charging terminal designed for the simultaneous operation of four electric vehicles. With a maximum capacity of 600 amps, this device meets all your charging needs.

Are Lotus terminals open to everyone?

All these solutions are equipped with liquid cooling technology, which ensures optimal efficiency due to preservation of the service life of the equipment.

In addition to launching these stations, Lotus aims to provide a 450kW super-fast charging solution directly to its customers. Engineering is in the works to offer owners access to this capacity as soon as infrastructure permits.

To make an investment like Tesla’s profitable, Lotus undoubtedly plans to open its charging stations to all users, not just owners of the brand’s cars. However, they will potentially have some price advantages over others.
