
The organizers of the Transylvania Open have good news for tennis fans: the 250 tournament from Cluj-Napoca has also found its place in the 2024 WTA season.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Cluj organizers announced that the 2024 BT Arena tournament will take place from February 3 to 11.

This year, the competition in Transylvania was held from October 16 to 22, and the big winner was Tamara Korpatch: 6-3, 6-4 in the final against Gabriela Ruse. The total prize pool of the tournament was $259,303.
Subsequently, the Transylvania Open was held three times: 2021 (Anette Kontaveit won, score 6-2, 6-3, after the final with Simona Halep), 2022 (Anna Blinkova won, score 6-2, 3 -6, 6). -2, with Jasmin Paoloni) and 2023 (Tamara Korpatsh lifted the trophy after 6-3, 6-4 with Gabriela Ruse).
