There is no threat to the payment of pensions, although the employees of territorial pension houses have declared a general strike, the National Pension House (CNPP) said on Tuesday. Payment of rights will begin on December 4, so that all rights will be paid before the holidays, the institution says.
- “Taking into account the legislative holidays of November 30 and December 1, respectively, as well as the holidays of December 2 and 3, 2023, the management of the NPD declares that it has already taken the necessary measures to ensure the payment of pension and other rights paid through the territorial pension houses concerning the month of December
- With the support of postal factors, the payment of rights will begin on December 4, so that all rights will be paid before the holidays.” This is stated in the press release of CNPP.
For beneficiaries who chose to pay pensions through bank accounts, the payment date is December 12.
“In this context, taking into account the exercise of the right to protest/strike by employees of territorial pension houses, we want to assure beneficiaries that the activities of these institutions continue and the payment of pensions is not threatened.” It was also clarified in the Pension House.
