
Former minister Yevhen Teodorovych announced that he will run for the presidency of Romania in the 2024 elections at the “United for the Nation” conference, organized and supported by the Romanian Sovereign Bloc (BSR).
Yevhen Teodorovych, 52, was a former minister in the governments of Ponta and Denchile.
The “Romanian Sovereign Bloc BSR” coalition, created two months ago, is headed by Silviu Craescu from the Republican Right Party, Ninel Peia from the Romanian National Party, General Constantin Onishore from the Romanian National Party, Dan Citic from the Coalition for the Nation, Florin Eremia from the Romanian Sovereign Bloc, Secretary General Cosmin Vetafu from the Romanian Sovereign Block, Negre Tudor from the Reform Party, Stelian Sima from the Christian Social People’s Party and Mihai Christian from the Motherland.
“Among the large number of parties united under one banner, the Romanian Sovereign Bloc – BSR represents a unique phenomenon on the political landscape of Romania. The platform brings together leaders with different visions, but united in efforts to bring about change. Evgeni Teodorovych’s announcement of his candidacy for the post of President of Romania in 2024 adds a note of confidence in the ability of the Romanian Sovereign Bloc to offer consistent solutions to the country’s problems,” said the press release quoted by Agerpres.
