Max Verstappen, 19 victories in one Formula 1 season

Max Verstappen was from another planet in 2023 and dominated the F1 hierarchy in all divisions.

The reigning champion also proved his worth in the final race of the season, in Abu Dhabi, where he once again produced the best result on the track.

Immediately after the final race of the year, Verstappen said he was very happy with his car and did not know what could be improved for the next F1 season.

“The whole team should be proud of this performance, it was an incredible year. I thank everyone and I am grateful to Franz Tost, for whom this was the last race as a general manager. Many of us grew up under Franz’s guidance and appreciate it.

19 wins, isn’t that incredible? I was very emotional during the last lap because I knew it was the last lap I would drive in this incredible car. I was surprised at how moved I was.

Many thanks to everyone in the team. I’ve always said that my goal is to get better every year, but to be honest, I don’t know how I’ll be able to do that next season.

The designers are already working on the car for next season, but I understand that our rivals are not sleeping, they want to catch us next year, and we will have to surpass ourselves to stay at the top.” – concluded Max Verstappen, reports speedweek.com.
