It is not always easybuy a new car. Indeed, you need to find the right model, one that fits your budget and meets all your needs. In addition, it should be practical, beautiful if possible and, above all, reliable. And on this last point, unfortunately, not all manufacturers are equal, and some clearly lag behind more than others. That is why it is important to be well informed in order toavoid disappointments and troubles that can sometimes be very annoying. Not to mention the bill, which can quickly grow depending on the issues and brands.

Unequal builders

That’s why Mobilians publishes a builder love rating barometer every year. This report details the relationship between brands and distributors on many points. And in particular, manufacturing defects of various brands are mentioned, enough to help motorists make their choice. Unsurprisingly, Japanese manufacturers once again come out on top, with Honda taking first place with the fewest defects, followed by Suzuki and Toyota. Then Volvo takes 4th place.

What are the worst?

On the other hand, if you want a car without defects, it is better to avoid going to Alfa Romeo and Jaguar-Land Rover by classification. Indeed, two manufacturers are among the worst performers, as are DS, Audi and Mercedes, which lose several places. In general, French brands are not very well placed because Peugeot and Citroën also decrease over the years. Be careful when choosing, even if not all defects are fatal, on the contrary.
