
This year, Fiat joins Disney to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the famous American animation studio. For this case, the Italian manufacturer created five unique copies news Fiat Topolino electric with Mickey Mouse as a nod to its Italian name Topolino (“little mouse”), which was also the nickname of the first Fiat 500 of the 1930s.

Fiat Topolino: five unique copies
Five one-off cars of the Citroën Ami cousin have been discovered on roof of Lingotto, the historic former Fiat factory in Turin, a building that also celebrates its centenary this year. Each Topolino represents a journey through time and art, and was created by the Fiat style teams, while the fifth striking example was developed in collaboration with Giorgio Cavazzanoa famous artist from the Disney studio.
Topolino “Historical” inspired by the black-and-white graphics of Disney’s first short, Steamboat Willie, one of Mickey’s first appearances that brought an innovation to the world of animation: synchronized sound. This animated film was also immortalized in an exhibition at MoMA in New York in 2019.
Fiat Topolino “Modern” dressed in a colored texture with the initials of Mickey Mouse, mostly orange. She gives a “Feeling positive energy, celebrating a shared vision, promising, bright, colorful and optimistic”.
Cooperation with the Disney studio
Topolino “Abstract” The focus is on abstraction to pay tribute to the creativity of the Disney studio, with graphic strokes, silhouettes of Mickey’s head, knots or floral patterns for a strong visual impact, creating a sense of elegance.
Finally a version “Street” The Fiat Topolino has a white livery decorated with graffiti that appears to have been done with a felt-tip pen. This version has an urban and playful spirit that always pays tribute to Mickey Mouse.
