​After 8 years, the Romanian football team qualified for the European Championship. Moreover, the tricolors will enter the second pot of the draw on December 2 after a 1-0 win over Switzerland.

Romania will take part in the second round of the draw in Hamburg

The team coached by Edi Iordenescu beat Switzerland in their final Euro 2024 qualifier to top Group I.

The Tricolors will be drawn into the second pot of the draw on December 2, meaning they will avoid the likes of Hungary, Turkey, Denmark, Albania and Austria.

Know:

  • The last three available places at Euro 2024 will come from the Nations League after the play-offs next March.
