Belgium comfortably thrashed Azerbaijan 5-0 in the final Group F of the Euro 2024 qualifiers, with striker Romelu Lukaku putting on a show with four goals.

Belgian Romelu Lukaku scored four goals in the game against Azerbaijan

Already qualified for the final tournament before Saturday’s game, Belgium took seriously the game against Azerbaijan, the score 5:0.

In the 17th minute, Romelu Lukaku opened the scoring with a header, seven minutes later the Azerbaijanis were numerically inferior after Israfilov was sent off.

Belgium went berserk and the Roma-licensed striker scored three more times in the 26th, 30th and 37th minutes, with the Devils also having a goal ruled out by VAR for offside in first-half stoppage time half time

Coach Domenico Tedesco decided to keep his forward, who was replaced by Openda at half-time, and the second half was less spectacular, with Trossard scoring only one goal in the 90th minute.

Romelu Lukaku, 30, has scored 13 goals in this qualifying campaign and is the top scorer in the Euro 2024 qualifiers.
