In Kraiów, the Christmas fair opened on Friday evening, which enchanted with light. The theme of the fair is the story of Snow White, and the dominant colors are white and turquoise. Also in Craiova, the highest panoramic wheel in Romania, 40 meters high and with a capacity of 140 people, was installed, which was brought from Holland. According to News.ro, the fair will close its doors on January 2, 2024.

The Craiova Christmas Fair opened its doors on Friday evening. It takes place in four areas of the city – the Old Town, William Shakespeare Square, Dolian Square and Mihai Vityazul Square, where visitors can meet Crăiasa Zăpezii, climb the largest Ferris wheel in Romania or take pictures of unique houses magically painted by plastic artists.

“The main theme of this year’s Christmas fair is the story of Snow White, which we will find on Mihai Vityazul Square, where everything down to the smallest details is decorated in white and turquoise colors. This year there will be a fairy fair, we have many new products for each area of ​​the fair, with different elements, colors and figurines – themed according to the market.

The largest wheel that can be seen in Romania this year was also installed in Craiova. It is 40 meters high, has 200 thousand LEDs, a capacity of 140 people and comes directly from Holland. That’s why we invite everyone to come to Craiova and let’s light two million lights together at one of the most beautiful Christmas markets in Europe,” said Lia Olguca Vasilescu, Mayor of Craiova.

Visitors have the opportunity to buy all kinds of products typical of the season from more than 70 traders in Craiova and throughout the country: traditional dishes, jumaras, cheeses, mulled wine, muffins, doughnuts, waffles, burgers, churros, strog, gingerbread, jewelry and handmade gifts. robots, globes, crowns, etc.

There is a huge tree at the Kraiów Christmas Fair, an ice rink, a carousel, fairy-tale characters, creative workshops and concerts.

The Christmas market in Craiova will be open every day from 12:00 to 22:00 until January 2, 2024.
