In the images that appeared in the public space, a police car, in which there was a crew of two, was stopped in motion by DNA prosecutors and DGA officers, searching at the sight of passers-by. He allegedly received the bribe from a man who was driving a car with Turkish license plates.

Anti-corruption prosecutors note that in the period from March 19 to April 22, Andrii Pantya and Valentyn Olteanu received various sums of money from 23 drivers in order not to fine them and deprive them of their driving licenses for violating some traffic rules.

“As a method of operation, most of the time the money hidden between the documents requested by the chief police agent Valentyn Oltianu (insurance or registration certificate) went to the commissioner Andrii Pantya. Later, he would take out the money, put it in his wallet or pocket, and at the end of the program, these sums of money would be divided between the two. In the mentioned context, the two suspects would be caught red-handed by anti-corruption prosecutors after receiving a total of more than 2,000 lei from four drivers,” they say. investigators
