In the last match of the stage at number 13 in the second CSA league, Steaua beat Cikszereda 1-0 at home to move up to seventh place with just one playoff point.

With almost empty stands at the stadium in Gencha, “Steaua” took advantage of the results of the stage to get closer to the top places.

The only success in the game was recorded by the best scorer Bohdan Chipirliu in the 78th minute, with a shot from an inside free kick after the ball was kicked in the center of the field by Daniel Opritzi’s pupils.

After jumping up six places in the rankings, the red-blues’ access to the playoffs could happen in the next stage, when they will go to the field of last-placed Progresula Spartak.
