Radu Dragushin will sign a contract with Genoa until 2027

After a one-year loan spell with Juventus, the Romanian defender was finally bought by Genoa in the summer for €5.5m following a move to Serie A.

Owner Dragush has been showing excellent results, and the club has offered him a new contract valid until 2027, Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio reports.

The international was earning around €600,000 a year and the new contract will see his wages doubled, according to his manager Florin Mane, as quoted by Fanatik.

Following his move to Serie A, Dragus has attracted the attention of major Italian clubs, but FC Barcelona have also been said to be keeping a close eye on him for a future transfer.

According to Transfermarkt, Radu Dragushin is the most expensive Romanian footballer at the moment, valued at €10 million.
