​Mirce Rednik is currently working on the technical bench of those at UTA Arad, and when asked about two topics that cause a lot of controversy, he gave answers on the spot. We are talking about a “war” for records and a logo between FCSB and CSA Steaua, as well as between the University of Craiova and FC U Craiova 1948.

A few weeks ago, Rednik talked about the conflict between two teams from Craiova.

The technician then said that the “real University of Craiova” is the team of Adrian Mititelu (FC U Craiova 1948), and about the formation patronized by Mihai Rotaru, he said that it is Craiovita.

The ‘Puriul’ nickname was recently asked about the seemingly endless ‘war’ between FCSB and Steaua’s CSA.

Rednik did not think much and spoke clearly on this topic.

“FCSB is a star? So! Now it will appear again… This is my opinion. He is a person who took charge, invested, and regardless of what others say, this is my opinion,” said Mircea Rednik, as quoted by Fanatik.

CSA Steaua play in Ligue 2 and are currently ineligible for promotion, regardless of their place in the rankings, while FCSB (financed by Gigi Bekali) are the leaders in the Superliga.

Instead, both teams from Craiova are in the first football echelon of the country: University of Craiova in 5th place with 23 points and FCU Craiova 1948 in 14th place with 15 points.
