A 21-year-old woman was sexually assaulted Friday night on a street in Bucharest outside her home, the capital’s police announced Thursday that the man had been caught and detained.

As reported by the Metropolitan Police, on November 3 around 22:30, the 4th police station received a message from a man that a man would come to his 21-year-old sister that same evening, around 21:00. on the streets of the capital. The law enforcement officers identified the 32-year-old man, establishing that, while chasing the young woman, he caught up with her in front of the house where she lives, after which he caught her and against her will, he would touch her in the intimate area, after which he would run away.

The man was detained for a day, and later a 30-day preventive measure was ordered in his name.
