
New laws on education have barely been adopted, and are already the subject of a wave of amendments initiated by parliamentarians. One of these initiatives aims to supplement the income of school inspectors by paying for transport costs, a measure aimed at a small group of people who usually owe their position to the support of the political party to which they belong.
The project was initiated by MP Adrian-Myroslav Merka, representative of the Czechs and Slovaks in the parliament, and is signed by his other colleagues from the group of national minorities. The initiative provides for amendments to Law 198/2023 on pre-university education.
