Although the Covid-19 epidemic and public health crisis are long behind us, car shows are really starting to get back on track. Obviously, we are referring to the Paris Motor Show, as well as the Geneva Motor Show, which was first held in Qatar and is preparing to return to Switzerland next year. And that’s after several cancellations, including one just days before opening in early 2020. It also angered many producers who were unable to receive compensation for their participation.
Keeping Geneva’s DNA alive, GIMS Qatar truly felt like a home away from home. The red carpets and brand name boards are reminiscent of Geneva, creating a cozy and familiar atmosphere even in Doha.#GIMSQatar23 #zhenevomotorshow #gimsswiss pic.twitter.com/8CcoNleTTd

Are you planning to return?
We are also of course thinking about the IAA, which was held for the first time in the city of Munich. By the way, until now the show has always been organized in Frankfurt, but the organizers decided to change the place before rethinking the meeting and giving it a second life. But the event may not stay in the Bavarian capital forever. In fact, they say that the mayor of Frankfurt would love to have the living room back within the next few years. Mike Josef has really spoken out on the subject and says he wants to bring the IAA back to Frankfurt as soon as possible.
Success
At the moment, nothing has been decided for the city councilor, and the organizers of the IAA are celebrating excellent numbers for the show that took place in Munich. In fact, at least 500,000 visitors responded more than 300 world premieres were presented during this 2022 edition. However, we remember that in 2015, the show, then held in Frankfurt, was visited by more than 930,000 people.
