“On behalf of the entire team of the National Alternative Movement – MAN – I want to say a big thank you to you and, first of all, to the residents of Chisinau. The municipality of Chisinau voted, which is quite a significant presence. Now for us, as well as for those who voted, the most important thing is to ensure the safety of the vote of every resident. And that is exactly what we are going to do in the near future. I would like to inform you that at this stage, in addition to the official figures that we saw in the register of the Central Election Commission, we have the figure of approximately 12 thousand votes submitted according to additional lists. And here it forces us to be very vigilant. We will count every vote. (…) Expectations exactly correspond to the voice of the residents. On the other hand, the candidate of the ruling party Action and Solidarity (PAS) Lilian Karp made her first statements after the polls closed in a program on TV8. Lilian Karp noted that there was a higher voter turnout in these elections than in 2019, which will provide “greater legitimacy” to the future mayor of Chisinau.

“The impressions are good. It is important that we had a better turnout than in 2019.
