On Saturday, Universitat Craiova and Craiova 1948 played out a 1-1 draw in the Oltenia derby from stage number 15 of the Superliga. The guests finished the match with a smaller number, but the hosts could not win.

Mihai Capetsina opened the scoring in the 29th minute, shooting from a well-hit area from 11 meters after a pass from Alexander Krets.

Aurelian Kitsu equalized in the second half with a header from Sidibe’s cross in the 64th minute.

Adrian Mititelu’s side prevailed in the 77th minute, after Padula was shown two yellow cards in the space of five minutes.

The result doesn’t help anyone, Universitat Craiova could drop out of the top spots, while Craiova 1948 is in 12th place, but could drop into the play-off positions at the end of the round.
