The world leader reached the final of the ATP Masters 1000 tournament in Paris for the ninth time.
Rublev gained an advantage after the first set played on the counterattack, which the Russian eventually won.
Although he was one game away from winning the second set, Djokovic managed to take it to a tie-break where he controlled it brilliantly to win 7-3.

In the ATP Paris final, Novak Djokovic will meet the Bulgarian Grigor Dimitrov (17 ATP), who lost to Stefanos Tsitsipas (6-3, 6-7, 7-6) in the semifinals.
The main favorite also has six trophies won in Paris (2009, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2019 and 2021).

The Rolex Paris Masters tournament will be held from October 30 to November 5 on an indoor hard court. It has a total prize pool of €5,779,335 and the championship title is Holger Rune (2022). The competition at the Accor Arena in Bersa is part of the ATP Masters 1000 category.
