After two wins in a row, Liviu Chobotariou’s team lost the chance to enter the playoffs after a draw with Petrolul.

Sepsi controlled the game and dominated their chances, while the Ploiesti side finished without a shot on target.

The result, however, helps more the formation of Florin Pirvu, who consolidated his fifth position with 21 points, while the Covasnians remain in 9th place with 19 points.
