A few weeks ago, we told you about the new facelifted Mazda MX-5, a model that gets a few makeovers for 2024, including some new features inside and out, as well as the arrival of a new touchscreen.

On the outside, the front bumper is slightly different, and the daytime running lights are now located in the headlights, rather than on the sides of the grille. The most observant will also notice small changes in the rear lights with a 3D design. New discs are also included.

A small technological upgrade for the Mazda MX-5

Inside, the changes are a little more noticeable, p new 8.8-inch touchscreen which we have already seen in the recent Mazda2 and CX-3. The instrument cluster has also been changed, and a new beige color can be selected for the upholstery and lower part of the center console.

All modifications apply to both models with a soft canvas top and models with a retractable RF hard top.

Penalties are still relatively limited

The new MX-5 will always have the option of a naturally aspirated 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine. 132 horsepower and 2.0 l 184 horsepower. The first will have the right the fine in 2024 is 1,172 euros and the second is 2,918 euros. The MX-5 feels good compared to other sports cars such as the Toyota GR86, which will be fined €60,000 next year.

As before, an automatic transmission is offered for the 2.0-liter engine, but no longer very popular in recent years, it will be even more so when (rare) customers discover the fine in 2024: 9,681 euros!

In terms of price, you will have to pay from 33,000 euros for the 132 horsepower version with a canvas top, 35,500 euros for the RF version, and €39,500 and €42,000 for the same versions but with a 2.0-liter engine.
