Capital City Mayor Nikushor Dan said on Wednesday that he has a very good relationship with USR councilors and with Sector 6 Mayor Ciprian Chuku, he discusses institutional issues, and does not think they are in different camps, as he says the PNL should distance itself from PSD, so they have the same vision. He also revealed that Daniel Beluce has more authority than Gabriela Firea, according to News.ro.
Nikushor Dan told Prima News that he has a very good relationship with USR General Counsels. Asked if he was already the USR’s candidate for the capital’s mayor’s office, he said that no party could now seriously say who their candidate for Bucharest was. “I have a very good relationship with the councilors of the UDR and the leadership of the UDR,” the mayor also noted.
When asked about his relationship with the mayor of Sector 6, Liberal Ciprian Chuku, Nikushor Dan said that he “discusses institutional issues”.
“I don’t think we are in different camps. Cyprian Chuku is someone from the PNL who says that the PNL should distance itself from the PSD, so the political vision is the same. Now, on a personal level, everything is happening,” Nikushor Dan noted.
Regarding Chuku’s candidacy for the position of mayor of the capital, he said that he did not believe in it, because Ciprian Chuku said several times that he did not want it.
Asked which candidate is more formidable between Gabriela Firea and Sector 4 Mayor Daniel Beluce, Nikushor Dan said Beluce “is more trusted than Firea. About sector 4, the capital’s mayor said that “from the point of view of image, it looks good, but functionally many dysfunctions have been created.”
