
Two men and a woman from Russia were arrested in New York on Tuesday and charged with exporting from the United States electronic components used by the Russian military that were found on the ground in Ukraine, US justice said, according to AFP.
Mykola Goltsev, 37, and his wife Kristina Puzyryova, 32, citizens of Canada and Russia who live in Montreal, as well as Salimjon Nasriddinov, 52, who has dual citizenship of Russia and Tajikistan and lives in Brooklyn, are suspected of “sending” to in 2022. and 2023 “to the Russian battlefield more than 300 shipments of prohibited materials valued at approximately $10 million,” according to a statement by Ivan Arvelo, special agent in charge of homeland security investigations in New York.

The three suspects are charged with smuggling goods from the United States and conspiracy to violate export control laws.
According to the indictment drawn up by the Brooklyn Federal Prosecutor’s Office, the suspects were fully aware of the purpose of their exports, as the Russian companies they worked with had direct ties to the military.
The prosecutor’s office requested that the three men be remanded in custody.
