Real Madrid dealt a major blow on Tuesday when they officially announced the extension of Vinicius Junior’s contract until 2027, with the release clause the same: €1 billion.
Vinicius Junior signed a contract with Real Madrid until 2027
“Real Madrid and Vinny Jr. have reached an agreement to extend his contract until June 30, 2027.
He joined the team in July 2018 and scored 63 goals in 235 appearances in six seasons with the first team.
He has nine trophies to his credit: the Champions League, two Club World Cups, the European Super Cup, two titles, two Cups and two Spanish Super Cups.
At 23, Viney Jr. is already one of Real Madrid’s most influential players in recent years.
He scored the goal that won the 2022 Champions League trophy and won the Ballon d’Or at the Club World Cup with Morocco.
He was also recognized as the best young player of the Champions League for 2021-2022,” the Madrid team said on their official page.
Having moved for 45 million euros from Flamengo, the Brazilian is now worth 150 million euros.
