Almost a year on, Bayern’s best players Harry Kane and Leroy Sane return for Darmstadt Bundesliga clash – Manuel Neuer

Munich “Bayern” temporarily returned to the first place in the Bundesliga.

The champions for the last 11 seasons hammered newly promoted Darmstadt 8-0 in a game that saw the return of goalkeeper Manuel Neuer after almost a year out.

The match at the Allianz Arena started poorly for the home team, who were already numerically inferior after 4 minutes. Joshua Kimmich saw a red card, but the quantitative balance was restored after 17 minutes when Klaus Gjasula also saw a red card.

Before the break, the guests had 9 players left. Center Petersen also gave a red card to Croatian Matej Maglica (min. 41).

In the second half, the German champion went wild and scored at least 8 times.

Harry Kane opened the scoring in the Bavarians’ goal with a header (min. 51), and Leroy Sane increased the home team’s advantage from Laimer’s pass.

The striker, brought from “Tottenham”, also moved into the role of a servant, and in the 60th minute he provided the decisive pass to Jamal Musiala, who scored 3-0.

Leroy Sane made it 4-0 (64th minute), but the night’s success also belonged to Harry Kane (69th minute), who beat Schuchen with a shot from the center of the pitch.

Thomas Muller (71st minute), Jamal Musiala (76th minute) and again Harry Kane (88th minute) scored for Tuchel’s team.
