Bayern Munich, the only team in UEFA Champions League history to win 8 consecutive group stage trips

Bayern Munich are the authoritative leaders of Group A after their third consecutive success in this UEFA Champions League draw.

Thomas Tuchel’s side won 3-1 away at Galatasaray thanks to goals from Kingsley Coman (8th minute), Harry Kane (73rd minute) and Jamal Musiala (79th minute).

By winning in Turkey, Bayern Munich became the first team in the history of the UEFA Champions League to win 8 consecutive away matches in the group stage.

Also, the Bavarians played 37 matches in a row without losing in the groups of the most important interclub competition.
