Judicial sources told News.ro that the target is the Jilava penitentiary, where the searches are taking place.

According to judicial sources, the participants brought cocaine, heroin and marijuana to the Jilava penitentiary colony.

The leader of the group is Albert Balint, also known as Albert Kemataru, one of Sile Kemataru’s sons.

The quoted sources specified that, starting in 2022, the three suspects created an organized criminal group, which was later joined by six more people who operated within the radius of the city of Bucharest and the county of Ilfov for the purpose of selling drugs. crime risk and high risk.

“From the evidence collected during the investigation of the criminal proceedings, it was established that in the period from November 2022 to July 2023, the leader of the group, who was serving a prison sentence, coordinated the activities of the participants in the procurement and introduction of a certain amount of high-risk drugs into the institution of punishment and of high risk (cannabis and cocaine) intended both for personal consumption and for sale to other persons who are in prisons,” the cited sources also said.

Also, some of the suspects allegedly purchased high-risk and high-risk narcotics (cannabis and heroin) intended for personal consumption by some family members who are in the same colony.

“During the investigation and collection of evidence, it became clear that three other suspects are suspected of involvement in crimes related to continuous human trafficking, continuous money laundering, possession of illegal narcotic drugs, for their own use consumption, in a long form, complicity in the crime of human trafficking and complicity in the crime of money laundering,” the court authorities also informed.

Thus, in the period from 2017 to 2023, one of them allegedly recruited through deception (creating the appearance of a sentimental connection), transported and hid four seriously injured persons for the purpose of sexual exploitation, through coercion (including acts of violence), to the practice of prostitution, both in Romania and in Italy, Belgium, France, Switzerland, Sweden, Germany, Holland and Denmark.

“Knowing the situation of the two victims, the second suspect would have provided them with transportation, shelter and supervision, as well as remittance of the money obtained from sexual exploitation, which the first suspect used to buy luxury cars, a building, and some drugs intended for personal consumption,” the investigators also report.

According to them, in order to hide the amounts received in this way, the goods were registered in the name of a third suspect, who knows the true origin.

According to judicial sources cited by News.ro, the person who sexually exploited the victims, forcing them into prostitution, is Cimpoeru Roberto.
