Claudio Tudor, president of Petrolul, gave Digi Sport the first reaction to the suspension of the player, who has also caught the attention of the Romanian national football team.

“I can say that we are surprised, shocked, we did not expect such a decision. This seems extremely harsh to me, especially since this player had no intention of intentionally hitting a Sibiu player. It seems to me that an extremely harsh measure was taken. We will certainly appeal and we hope that the committees will check again and make sure that he does not intend to cause any harm to the player from Sibiu.

We have a good relationship with Sibiu, we thanked them for the statements they gave after this incident. It can be seen that there are quality people there.
