An impressive collection of vintage cars is up for auction next week. Rare cases, from the Ford Mustang to the Jaguar XJ, favorites of heads of state or Hollywood stars, the cars have historic car certificates and are among the most sought-after models of collectors.

The most valuable auction appearance is a rare Ford Mustang Fastback, the starting price of which is 50,000 euros. The model, created in 1968, has been completely restored and is in perfect condition. The auction model is a very rare variant with a 5-speed manual gearbox and has a historic car certificate. The identical Mustang is the hero of the most famous car chase in the history of cinema, where Steve McQueen drives madly through the streets of San Francisco in the movie “Bullitt”. A 1967 Ford Mustang GT Fastback was sold at Artmark Elegance 2022 for €70,000.

Recently fully restored, with a Historic Car Certificate, the Jaguar XJ 4.2 Series 3 is up for auction with a starting price of €12,000. Bond. So, in the films with James Bond as the main character, several Jaguar XJ cars appeared, from successive series of production.

Its reliability is tested in the most difficult conditions, including overcoming millions of kilometers on rough roads in Africa or the Middle East.

The lowest starting price of €4,000 in the vintage car collection is the Mercedes W201 190E 2.6. The car is in original condition with a mileage of only 80,000 km. The rare model has a historic vehicle certificate and is powered by a 2.6-liter engine mated to an automatic transmission.

The last auction in October featured several collector cars, more than 100 rare watches and other men’s artefacts, which are on display at the Česianu-Rakovica Palace. The exhibition can be visited from Monday to Sunday from 10:00 to 20:00. The Gentleman’s Club auction will take place on Wednesday, October 25 at 7:00 p.m. at the Palatul Cesianu-Racoviță auction hall, as well as online on the Artmark Live platform.
