The Romanian got off to a great start, leading 2-0 and 4-2, but Oz leveled at 5, but the end of the set was decided before the tie-break.

The second set was much calmer, with Miriam Bulgaru completely dominating the player who made it to the main draw as a lucky loser and decided to qualify for the second round.

The game lasted one hour and 55 minutes.

In the 1/8 finals, Miriam Bulgaru will meet the fourth favorite of the tournament, the Spanish Rebecca Masarova (67 WTA).
