Vinicius Junior wants to end his career in Flamengo

Vinicius Junior is one of the best players spotted by Real Madrid’s famous scouts.

The Brazilian arrived at the Santiago Bernabeu in the summer of 2018 for €45 million and has quickly become an indispensable player in Real Madrid’s attack.

Since then, the player, who is now valued at €150 million, has made no fewer than 232 appearances for Real Madrid, scoring 62 goals and providing 65 assists.

Despite being well-loved by the team’s fans, Vinicius recently announced that he wants to retire from football in Brazil, fulfilling a promise he made to his father.

“Real Madrid? I think I could stay here for the rest of my career, but the club of my life is Flamengo. I promised my father that one day I would return there. I have to keep that promise,” he said, according to L’ Team

By the way, Flamengo is the club that brought Vinicius to professional football and from which Real Madrid transferred him.
