On Friday, Dimitrov (19 ATP) defeated the Chilean Nicolas Jarry (22 ATP) with a score of 7-6(2), 6-4. The match lasted an hour and 40 minutes.
In the second match of the day, Rublev (7 ATP) outlasted Frenchman Hugo Humber (34 ATP) 6-2, 6-3 after a match that lasted an hour and a half.

- Dimitrov and Rublev have met six times on the ATP circuit, and the score is equal: 3-3. The two players get along very well and are friends off the tennis court.
