The IAF said that “overnight they launched a wave of strikes against the elite Nuhba force of the terrorist organization Hamas, hitting operational command centers used by operatives who infiltrated communities around the Gaza Strip last Saturday.”

“Nuhba’s elite force consists of terrorists selected by senior Hamas operatives who are tasked with carrying out terrorist attacks such as ambushes, raids, assaults, infiltration through terrorist tunnels, as well as anti-tank missile, rocket and sniper fire. The elite forces of Nuhba were among the main forces that infiltrated the State of Israel to carry out criminal acts of terrorism against its citizens,” the post on the X IAF platform said.

“In addition, IAF jets struck Muhammad Abu Shamli, a senior Hamas naval leader in the Rafah Brigade. Abu Shamla’s residence was used to store naval weapons intended for terror against the State of Israel,” the quoted source added.
